Right from the star line the route goes to the left and down onto a dirt road where after 1,8 km of smooth descent, you make a hard turn left and up to the road crossing. After crossing the road, you start a 2,5 km climb up the Garabashi gorge. The total elevation gain is 750 meters. From here, there is a 2 km traverse along a good dirt road with short ascends and descends that leads to the ski lifts. Go out to the ski slope and down 3,5 km to the finish line.
